Remember, some lenders may require specific vehicle details and could have restrictions on the vehicle’s year and mileage.
2. Arrange Insurance:

3. Payment Options:
If you’re not using financing, discuss payment methods with the seller. They may accept:
- Cashier’s Check
- Wire Transfer
- PayPal or similar online payment platforms
- Cryptocurrency
- Cash

Bidding with us is simple and straightforward. Here’s how it works:
Placing a Bid: When you place a bid, we’ll place a hold on your credit card for the 6% buyer’s premium. If you win the auction, 6% of the winning bid will be charged to your card. You’ll pay the seller directly for the motorcycle or motobilia. If you don’t win, the hold will be released once the auction ends.
Binding Bids: Every bid you place is binding, so only bid if you’re fully committed to the purchase and have done your due diligence.
Dynamic Close Process: To keep the bidding process fair, we use a dynamic close system. If a bid is placed within the final minute of the auction, the remaining time will reset to 60 seconds to prevent sniping.

To purchase a motorcycle or piece of motobilia, you must win the auction by being the highest bidder. Here’s how it works:
Reserve Auctions: If the auction has a “Reserve,” you’ll need to place a bid that meets or exceeds the reserve price. The highest bid that meets the reserve wins the auction.
No Reserve Auction: If there’s “No Reserve,” the highest bid wins, regardless of the amount.
Once the auction closes, we’ll provide you with a step-by-step checklist to guide you through completing your purchase. You’ll also receive the seller’s contact information (and they’ll receive yours) to finalize the details and logistics.
Please note, buyers are required to pay in full within seven (7) days of the auction closing. [Terms and Conditions].
If the seller’s reserve is not met but the highest bid is close, our team at motorcyclebuys.com will step in. We’ll contact both the seller and the highest bidder within 24 hours of the auction closing to negotiate a potential sale.
If the high bidder agrees to the seller’s terms, we’ll update the listing to reflect the agreed “Subject-To” sale price.

If your listing is approved, you’ll need to pay the $69.00 listing premium. Once approved, your listing will be scheduled to go live.

Create a Walk-Around Video: Film a walk-around video of your motorcycle or motobilia. You can easily do this on your phone in landscape mode and upload it to YouTube.
Have a Lien? If you have a loan on your motorcycle or scooter, review the process for paying it off with your lender. Check the specific steps for your state and request a 10-day payoff from your lender.
