For optimal results, it is preferable to conduct the entire photoshoot outdoors. Unless adverse weather conditions prevent the motorcycle from being outside. Refrain from capturing photos in your driveway or in front of your residence. Instead, transport the motorcycle to a spacious or picturesque outdoor setting devoid of other vehicles, individuals, or distracting elements.
• Avoid busy and crowded locations
• Try to use a neutral backdrop
• Try to conduct the photoshoot in open shade, particularly during overcast weather conditions, or in the late afternoon sunlight.
• Avoid showing personal details (such as home or business)
• Get all necessary photos in one location
While engaging a professional photographer to capture images of your motorcycle is optimal, not everyone has access to this opportunity. However, photographing your motorcycle independently can be straightforward by adhering to our simple guide. Please use the photos below for reference.
• Please shoot with your device horizontally
• Please use the latest smart phone, a professional camera, or digital camera
• Please ONLY shoot in a 4:3 or 3:2 aspect Ratio
• Do not use 16:9 wide or 3:3 square format
• Remove Licence plates before the photoshoot
Editing photos
Only edit to enhance the overall image. Do Not remove imperfections and flaws from the motorcycle.
Guide to getting the important angles – Let’s start with the 8 most basic angles of your motorcycle. Pictured below is 360° walk-around we require you to include at the beginning of the listing.
• Utilize a tripod or monopod to maintain consistent height and distance for each image, ensuring uniformity across the photo set
• For a seamless walk-around photo set, it’s recommended to stick to one focal length for the entire photoshoot. A 35mm lens or its equivalent is ideal for achieving this consistency
